The TRC Election

The voting period for the TRC election will run from Monday 16 January through to Tuesday 31 January 2017.

Voting can be completed online and is being managed by an independent election management company, Corpvote.  Voting packs will be posted by Corpvote in early January to the address that QVM has for each voter as per their lease or license details. This pack will contain a unique voter code issued by Corpvote and ‘How to Vote’ information. Traders will be able to access the website and vote using the unique voter code at any time during the election period.  A voting kiosk will be provided in F1 – F Shed to assist traders who require help with voting.

Voting is only required for areas with more than one nomination. Traders who trade in an area for which an election is being held will be entitled to vote in that election provided they held their QVM license prior to 1 July 2016.

Results will be announced by Corpvote to the winning candidates immediately upon the close of the election on 31 January 2017. Full election results, including positions elected unopposed, will be published in the Trader Bulletin on 4 February 2016. The first meeting of the new committee is scheduled for 10 February 2017.

Further information regarding the election and the Committee will be published on the QVM website in the Corporate section in early 2017.
