Sundowner Apple

Spiced hot apple cider Recipe

Ingredients

2 sundowner apples, peeled and quartered (The Fresh Pear Fruit Supply, Stall 20, B Shed)
2 tbsp maple syrup (Nut Trek, Shop 55-56, Dairy Hall)
few drops vanilla extract (Nut Trek, Shop 55-56, Dairy Hall)
¼ peeled orange (The Fresh Pear Fruit Supply, Stall 20, B Shed)
1½ tsp cinnamon, plus extra to garnish (Green Valley Spices, Stalls 36-40, B Shed)
¼ tsp freshly grated nutmeg, plus extra to garnish (Green Valley Spices, Stalls 36-40, B Shed)
¼ tsp ground cloves (Green Valley Spices, Stalls 36-40, B Shed)
2 cups very hot, but not boiling, water
sliced orange, to garnish (The Fresh Pear Fruit Supply, Stall 20, B Shed)

Method

Put all the ingredients except the sliced orange into a blender and blend on high for at least 3 minutes.

Pour into mugs and garnish with orange slices, cinnamon sticks and an extra sprinkling of cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg.
