Honey-roasted parsnips Recipe


4 parsnips (George’s Fruit & Veg, Stalls 9-14, H Shed)
olive oil (Bill’s Farm, Shop 17-20 Dairy Hall)
salt flakes, cracked black pepper (Nut Trek, Shop 55-56, Dairy Hall)
2 tbsp honey (Land of Soy and Honey, Shop 10-11, Dairy Hall)
sesame seeds (Nut Trek, Shop 55-56, Dairy Hall)


Preheat oven to 210°C.

Peel, quarter and core the parsnips.

Place parsnips on a baking tray, drizzle over the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 30 minutes, or until the parsnips are tender and golden.

Drizzle over the honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
