Bok Choy

Simple, delicious and ready in under 10 minutes—this dish is a triple threat.

Honey, garlic and soy bok choy Recipe

Ingredients

2 garlic cloves, sliced (Fruit and Veg Supply, Stalls 21-25, H Shed)
1 tbsp honey (Land of Soy and Honey, Shop 10-11, Dairy Hall)
2 tbsp soy sauce (Garden Organics, Stall 71-76, I Shed)
¼ tsp sesame oil (Garden Organics, Stall 71-76, I Shed)
1 tbsp peanut oil (Garden Organics, Stall 71-76, I Shed)
2 bunches bok choy, washed and quartered (Fruit and Veg Supply, Stalls 21-25, H Shed)

Method

In a bowl, whisk together the garlic, honey, soy sauce and sesame oil. Set aside.

Heat peanut oil in a large wok over high heat until its really hot and stir-fry the bok choy, swirling it to coat in the oil, for 2-3 minutes or until just wilting.

Pour over the sauce, and stir-fry for a further 2-3 minutes or until bok choy is just tender. Remove from heat and toss through sesame oil.

Serve immediately.
