The Foodies Tour will introduce students to a world of new tastes and flavours many would not have seen before. Discuss food variety and healthy eating options whilst also developing an historic understanding of the markets beginnings and it’s cultural and heritage links.
Multi Cultural Food Tour:
The Queen Victoria Market has had a significant influence on Melbourne's culinary palate as we know it today. The Multicultural Food Tour will trek you through all the different food sections of the Market highlighting the large variety of foods from all the different regions of the world. From Asian, to Greek, French, Italian and so much more.
High School Groups:

Shop and Cook Tour
Discover the finest produce the Queen Victoria Market has to offer and then whisk back to the Cooking School for the ultimate cooking class. Class themes can be tailored to accommodate course curricula and cover a variety of areas from regional menus to healthy eating plans.
Duration: 2.5hrs (1 hr tour and 1.5hr cooking class)
Group Size: 18 max people per class
(Although groups of up to 36 can be accommodated as a back to back tour)
Cost: $50 + GST per head (primary and secondary school only)
*Shop & Cook available on market days only.
*Cooking School available seven days a week.
*Classes take on a demonstration format.
