The Social Kitchen is coming to Queen Victoria Market from November 13!
As the latest in a series of evolving Social Kitchen food and design experiences created by Fisher & Paykel around the world, this will be a dedicated, hands-on cooking school ‘pop up’ located amongst the fruit and veg stalls of the Market. It’s an exciting opportunity to learn from Melbourne’s leading culinary creatives and chefs in a revolving series of seasonal, cultural and master classes held every day for a limited 26 week season from 13 Nov 2014 – 10 May 2015.
Produced by catering supremos, Peter Rowland Catering, classes will include exploring the Market to meet specialist traders and source fresh ingredients before preparing dishes under expert tuition at individual cooking stations equipped with state of the art cooking appliances. Complete the experience with conversation with your fellow class mates over matched wine as your savour your culinary creations and take home a goodie bag bursting with market produce and gourmet gifts. A special series of Master Classes with 12 of Melbourne’s most in demand chefs from the city’s hottest restaurants will also be on offer as part of The Fisher & Paykel Cooking School experience.
