The Mooncake Festival marks the end of the fall harvest. Dating back 3000 years to China’s Zhou Dynasty, this festival is an East Asian tradition which promotes abundance and family unity.
Aimed at giving an insight into the Chinese culture, the festival will feature street food stalls, musical and dance performances and a kids activity zone. There will be a lion team dance off, lantern dance, roving entertainment, mooncake eating competition and a noodle making demonstration.
Sunday 11 September, 9am – 4pm, Queen Street.
