Join us at Queen Victoria Market to explore the relationships between food, science, innovation, technology and the environment. Interactive presentations, hands-on activities for adults and children, shows and demonstration run throughout the day.

Cooking demonstrations with plenty of tastings and science of chocolate samples to try. Meet our special international guest space historian Amy Shira Teitel and view the planets like never before! Check out your knowledge of food nutrition, make your own sherbet, extract DNA from fruit and much more.

Now in its eighth year, Living Science at the Market is part of National Science Week, Australia’s largest science festival with events and activities taking place across the country.

This FREE event is suitable for all ages.
