The Euro Union concept is the next evolution of the Sunday Market Food Festival. This European themed event will give a point of difference to the current program with food that reflects the changing season and is comforting winter fare. Along with the food offer there will be a bar area with live entertainment where shoppers can relax and enjoy a drink and soak up the atmosphere. We are seeking submissions from take away food traders with a quality European food offer to take place in this event which will run over eleven Sundays between May – July including:
May: 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
June: 14th, 21st, 28th
July : 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th

The Company will not be evaluating any application for the purpose of entering legal relations. Legal relations will only be contemplated if and when the successful applicant signs a Licence prepared by the Company. The Company reserves the right to act as it sees fit after considering applications received.

The collection of your personal information is required in order to administer your stall application or licence. If your personal information is not able to be collected, then we may not be able to progress your application or administer your licence.
QVM collects, uses, holds and discloses personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your personal information will only be disclosed in limited circumstances, and generally only for the purpose for which it was collected, or otherwise as required or authorised by law. It may be disclosed to provide a reference for you to other landlords or their agents in respect of future tenancies, and to QVM’s legal advisors where required. Your name and contact details, and stall location may also be disclosed to members of the public for the purposes of promoting QVM and its activities.

The decision of the selection panel is final and is not open appeal.
The selection criteria, which will be considered in the assessment of applications for Euro Union, are summarised below:
The sequence of the above criteria does not imply any relative priority. Furthermore these are not the only criteria upon which the assessment of applications is made.
Stalls, dependent on location vary between 3m x 3m and 6m x 3m.
Stall set up will be to a standard approved by Queen Victoria Market and in accordance with its merchandising guidelines. Stallholders must comply with the operational requirements of the Market and direction of QVM staff.
Traders who require to bring a coolroom will need to advise this on application and at interview stage. This will assist in making arrangements for the parking of such coolrooms & access to additional power usage. Coolrooms operating off generators or vehicle engines are prohibited.
Each stall has access to limited power – please itemise cooking equipment & other electrical equipment you intend to use in your application above.

Season fees must be paid in advance by direct debit. Late payment of fees may result in withdrawal of the License offer or interest being charged.
