Top 5 winter wardrobe must haves for under $100

Chelsea Thomas from I Heart Bargains shares her top five winter wardrobe must haves for under $100 each! The concept of looking fabulous but not paying the big bucks for it is music to Chelsea’s ears and it’s another of the reasons Chelsea frequently visits the Market!

Check out the staples for winter that she found on her most recent trip to the Queen Victoria Market. Each item is well under $100 and means that you can purchase a few (or all) of the fashion pieces and have some spare change for some Spanish donuts and chocolate dipping sauce!

1. The Little Black Boots – being able to wear an ankle boot with an ensemble of jeans
and jacket or a patterned shift dress, means minimal staring into your wardrobe in the
mornings. It’s a solution to looking classy with an edge of casual. There are several
different embellishments, studs, buckles and zip details available on the boots at the
Market so it’s just a matter of choosing a colour and a style that suits your feet.

2. The Woolly Slouch Hat – bad hair days aside, a slouch beanie is 100% on trend this
winter and don’t be afraid to wear a pop of colour on your head, when the rest of you is
head-to-toe black. And if you’re after scarves and mittens to match The Basket Shop is
a wonderful stop-off.

3. The Patterned Shift Dress – there is no denying how divine a shift dress with
opaque tights can be, when the monotony of black pants gets the better of you. For
work, change up your attire and consider a patterned shift dress, with blazer over the
top. Sharp but fun!

woman’s wardrobe this winter. They can be stylishly thrown over whatever you’re
wearing. They’re a flattering addition to anyone’s coat collection. And talk about toasty.
Cape’s keep the heat in and are actually the perfect garment to pop on when browsing
the Market stalls.
